Opt-In......Courtesy Pay Privilege 

Due to recent regulatory changes it is now necessary that you opt-in for the payment of everyday point-of-sale transactions in cases where such payment will result in your account being overdrafted. If you wish to continue authorizing the credit union to pay such transactions after August 15th, 2010, you must opt-in. If you do not opt-in the credit union will deny point-of-sale transactions if you do not have sufficient funds to cover them.

However, without the benefits of Courtesy Pay Privilege you could possibly expose your account to the following:

 Items exceeding your checking account balance will be returned NSF

• You will be subject to Merchant/Retailer fees resulting from the NSF in addition to the Credit Union's NSF fee
• Possible reporting to ChexSystems due to excessive NSF's
• Inconvenient, embarrassing, expensive and added time spent resolving the NSF

Print and sign the Opt-In form and return it to Holston Methodist Federal Credit Union via fax 865.558.0016 or mail it to PO Box 52688, Knoxville, TN 37950.
